Create a visually striking and thematically rich hero image for a Vortex-sponsored shotgun giveaway campaign. The goal was to craft a compelling scene that captured the rugged, weathered soul of spring turkey hunting—emphasizing grit, nostalgia, and authenticity while showcasing the shotguns as centerpiece prizes. The final image needed to feel cinematic yet product-focused, appealing to a passionate hunting audience across digital marketing channels, social media, and promotional materials.

Working within our studio space, I led the full creative direction of the shoot—from pre-production through execution. I sourced and curated every set piece—from the aged barnwood backdrop and vintage gear to spent shells and antler sheds—to build a cohesive, lived-in environment. Lighting was controlled to enhance contrast and texture, evoking a moody, golden hour atmosphere. I carefully positioned each shotgun for balance and visual rhythm, ensuring the camouflage patterns and product details were cleanly visible without losing the rustic tone of the scene. My role also involved overseeing scene styling, prop placement, and post-shoot image refinement to ensure every element aligned with the Vortex brand and campaign objectives. Following I was responsible for incorporating the image into marketing material to advertise for the giveaway.
